To understand the universe, rediscover the self

Life is a reflection of our consciousness, which correlates to our thoughts, beliefs and the state we reside in. Our thoughts, whether we are conscious of them or not, emit frequencies and vibrations. The majority of these thoughts stem from the subconscious mind. Our self-image plays an important role in this as it is the foundation for our dominant thoughts and feelings. At the level that we fully embrace our true nature, we see the inner workings of reality.

Beauty and pain

There is so much beauty and pain in life, each balancing one another for the purpose of expansion. Embracing the beauty in life expands with more gratitude, uplifting thoughts and vibration. When we experience pain, often due to resistance, and go through the process of surrendering we expand. Sometimes it takes painful moments to crack open any hardness that we might have. As we let go of any attempt to control, or know a particular outcome, we fully surrender into our imaginative act and allow. There are so many layers to this simple and yet complex realization.

Experiences of life

Life presents itself through experiences for the purpose of expansion. Our experiences are here to serve us and knowing this frees us from the victim mentality trap. Life is a journey of expanding energy and resistance hinders our ability to remain flexible and curious with our experiences. Anything we resist or push against, pushes back with a greater force. When we surrender into it we expand, the lesson is revealed and we become free from the struggle. There is great power in learning how to surrender and release. Ask yourself, what am I holding on to? What am I attempting to control? Then let go and observe your inner state of being.

Expanding awareness

We expand our awareness through self-discovery, complete and unconditional self-acceptance, as we remember our true nature. As we experience this, we find ourselves more centered and present when faced with a challenge. As we question and reflect on our experiences, we see them from a broader perspective and wisdom comes through. Observational awareness plays an important role as it allows us to shift our point of focus. In a way, we become the observer of our thoughts while we are thinking them. This is not about mental or emotional suppression but rather an acknowledgment, as we recognize the patters and shift our focus during the onset of a challenge. It’s seeing with awareness for greater clarity and guidance from outside the problem or situation.

Embracing silence

A daily practice silence enhances our awareness and intuition, reduces inner chatter and frees up mental resources. It helps to develop a layer of awareness around our thinking mind, while expanding our faith into a knowing that transcends uncertainty. This allows for us to shift into the state of calmness and curiosity when met with a challenge. Here we find a deeper meaning to the phrase “become like children again”, as a curious mind with a present heart sees beyond any situation. If you wish for guidance on something, go into silence with the intention of clarity. Through this inner journey, we return to our true nature. This supersedes any belief or idea that is measured through external circumstances, accomplishments or things, as our true nature requires no validation. It is everything and nothing. At the level that we experience this, the universe unfolds and reveals itself.
